University Introduction

Federation University Australia , founded in 1870, is one of Australia's top three oldest universities. It was separated from the institution of Melbourne in 1994 and established as an independent Australian public institution. It is the modern descendant of the School of Mines Ballarat, which was founded in 1870 as Australia's fourth tertiary school and grew into the modern university that exists today.

The main campus is in Ballarat, Victoria, about a two-hour drive from Melbourne. It is a distant place having the advantage of being an immigration scorer while being relatively close to urban life. Students can spend their free time doing a range of recreational and entertainment activities, including day trips to the beach, mountain climbing, camping, and visits to national parks.

The university uses a small class size teaching style. This teaching methodology enables all students to actively participate in a variety of school courses and activities, and students can also receive direct assistance from teachers or counselors. Furthermore,  it  has a low number of international students , ranging from 8% to 10%, allowing overseas students to properly assimilate into the Australian educational environment and experience authentic Australian education.

Federation University Australia has received a five-star rating from the "2020 Good Universities Guide" in a variety of areas, including teacher-student ratio, overall experience, student help, teaching quality, and graduate starting wage. Graduates from Federation University in Australia Earn an average starting income of AU$62,600 per year.
