University Introduction
Macquarie University is an Australian public research university based in Sydney, New South Wales. It was the third university established in Sydney's metropolitan area, founded by the New South Wales Government in 1964.
Transportation to the university is relatively convenient, as it is accessible by bus and train. The school also provides shuttle buses to and from the train station as well as numerous locations on campus such as parking lots, gymnasiums, hospitals, and more. In 2010 , the school created Macquarie University Hospital, Australia's first teaching hospital, on campus.
Macquarie University got five-star ratings in eight categories, including teaching, employment rate, research, internationalization, facilities, innovation, equal access, and specialized fields. Macquarie University is one of five Australian universities to obtain a five-star rating in all categories , ranking alongside world-renowned universities such as Yale University, Princeton University, and Harvard. The "2020 QS Graduate Employment Rate Ranking" places Macquarie University 101-110th in the world in terms of student employment rate.
Recently, the university invested more than one billion Australian dollars in scientific research equipment and infrastructure construction to ensure that the school's scientific research team and students have access to cutting-edge technology, foster innovation, and maintain global influence.
